My press-on nails collection + full sets ♡

Hi, Gals! Lately I'm obssesed with press-on nails because you can take them off whenever you want, you can reuse them and collect them. In the past I used to wear acrylics but because of pademic I couldn't visit my nailist anymore so I decided to switch to a nailst specialized on press-on as I told you on my previous post about where to get them and I'm super happy with that decision. So today I'm going to show you (and flex a little bit) about my nails collection and how I get my complete sets. Wai! 💗

Hi, Gals! Últimamente estoy obsesionada con las press-on porque te las puedes quitar cuando quieras, puedes reutilizarlas y coleccionarlas. En el pasado solía usar acrílicas, pero debido a la pandemia ya no pude volver a visitar a mi nailist, así que decidí cambiar a otra nailist especializada en press-ons, como les comenté en mi anterior post sobre dónde pueden encontrar estas uñas, y estoy súper feliz con esta decisión. Así que hoy les mostraré (y alardearé un poquito) sobre mi colección de uñas y cómo recibo mis sets completos. Wai! 💗

So first things first my current nails!  Right now I'm wearing the nails from the left because for me, the longe the nails, the slower I type on the computer (lol). So since these last weeks I have had a lot of work, I decided to go for short nails. But I definitely wanted them to have a super cute deco so I asked my nailist to add a lot of rhinestones. I usually look around Japanese nail salons for inspiration and send it to her to know if she can do something similar to that. And the right picture it's my current nail collection that I've divided in 4 categories I'll present to you.

Entonces primero lo primero, ¡mis uñas actuales!  Ahora estoy usando las uñitas de la izquierda porque, para mí, mientras más largas las uñas, más lento escribo en la compu (lol). Así que estas últimas semanas que he tenido un montón de trabajo, he decido irme por las uñas cortas.  Aunque definitivamente quería que tengan un deco super bonito, así que le pedí a mi nailist que agregue muchas pedrerías. Usualmente veo salones japoneses para encontrar inspiración y se las envió para saber si puede hacer algo similar. Y la imagen de la derecha es mi colección actual de uñas que he dividido en cuatro categorías que ahora les mostraré.

1. My first nails

These ones are my very first sets I ordered in November. I was looking around on Etsy, AliExpress, etc. and then I thought: What if I look on Instagram for local nailist? And that's how I found Valeria. I'm the kind of person who sticks with just one professional (same with my colorist and esthetician), I just trust on person, so I got these nails, I loved them and decided to keep ordering to start working on my collection. Plus I love animal print nails, so I super loved that design.   But I like the baby boomer as well because I used to wear nails like those in the past with my acrylics. They look natural but chic.

Estos son los primerísimos sets que ordené en noviembre. Había estado buscando en Etsy, AliExpress, etc. y luego pensé: ¿Y si buscó en Instagram una nailist local? Y así fue como encontré a Valeria. Yo soy el tipo de persona que se queda con un solo profesional (así como con mi colorista y mi esteticista). Solo puedo confiar en una persona. Así que pedí estas uñas, me enamoré y decidí seguir ordenando para comenzar mi colección. Además, me encanta el animal print, así que me encantó este diseño.  Pero también me gustan las baby boomers porque eran las que solía usar en el pasado con mis uñas acrílicas. Se ven naturales pero chic.

2. My favorite nails

You can't imagine how much I wanted gummie bears nails but also nails with cherry details. So I decided to ordered both. The gummie bears have been my most expensive nails because all the little bears are manually sculpted and encapsulated with glitter. They also took more time to arrive because of that. They were around US$60, and usually my nails are around US$25~30. It depends on the design. But they were 100% worthy and super comfortable to wear. 

No pueden imaginar cuánto quería uñas con ositos de goma, pero también quería uñas con detalles de cerezas. Así que pedí ambas. Los ositos de goma han sido mis uñas más caras porque todos los ositos fueron esculpidos a mano y encapsulados con glitter. Ese diseño también tardó más en llegar por es emotivo. Estuvieron alrededor de los US$60, cuando mis uñas usualmente están US$ 25~30. Depende mucho del diseño. Pero estas en particular valieron 100% la pena, además eran súper cómodas de usar. 

3. My themed nails

These two sets were ordered for special ocasions. Can you guess which ones? Yes, Valentine's day and Christmas. I love themed nails so I couldn't just overlook this opportunity and I'm glad I did it. Specially the Christmas ones I was super impressed by the design because every single detail was painted by hand.  Do you see those snowflakes and textures? Yeah, it's all painted. 

Estos dos sets fueron ordenados para ocasiones especiales. ¿Pueden adivinar cuáles? Sí, San Valentín y Navidad. Me encantan las uñas temáticas, así que no podía pasar por altos esa oportunidad y estoy feliz de haberlo hecho. Especialmente las de Navidad, estaba super sorprendida por el diseño porque cada uno de los detalles fueron hecho pintados a mano.  ¿Los copo de nieve y las texturas? Sí, todo está pintado.

4. My latest nails

And last but not least my lastest nails. These are the short nails I ordered along the ones I'm wearing now and they're so cute! I love all the dry flowers, roses and rhinestones details.  Plus, for this last time I couldn't help it but I had to included those heart pierced details on the last design. Can't wait to wear them! I think for next time I'll try to get pierced nails again but with charms on it. 

Y por último, pero no menos importante, mis uñas más recientes. Estas son las uñas cortas que ordené junto a las que estoy usando ¡y son tan lindas! Amo las flores secas, las rosas y los detalles con pedrería.  Además, en esta oportunidad no pude evitar incluir los troquelados de corazón en el último diseño. ¡No puedo esperar a usarlas! Creo que para la siguiente intentaré pedir uñas troqueladas pero con dijes colgantes.

Bonus: My nail sets!

And finally this is how I storage my nails. I have three boxes. One for those mesh bags where I save each one of the sets I order from Valeria. Her sets come with those bags an include: Nail glue, sticky tabs, files, buffers, alcohol pads and a cuticle stick. But I also have a little box for my AliExpress nails. I have just a few in the same design but different colors (marble white and dusty pink) and they came in those little plastic bags with sticky tabs. Tbh I only wear the AliExpress designs when I'm waiting to get new gets lol.

Y finalmente cómo almaceno mis uñas. Tengo tres cajas. Una es para las bolsitas de gasa donde guardo los sets que pido con Valeria. Sus sets tienen con esas bolsas e incluyen: Pegamento de uñas, sticky tabs, limas, buffers, pañitos de alcohol y la varita para la cutícula. Pero también tengo una cajita con mis uñas de AliExpress. Tengo solo unas cuantas con el mismo diseño en diferentes colores (blanco y palo rosa marmoleado) y esas vinieron en bolsitas de plástico con sus sticky tabs. La verdad solo uso las uñas de AliExpress cuando estos a la espera de nuevos sets lol.

And that was all for today! I hope it wasn't too long but I'm really excited about how much my collection ha grown the last months. And now I'll think which designs I want next because my birthday is coming nex month! ＼(≧▽≦)／

Y eso fue todo por hoy. Espero que no haya sido tanto, pero estaba muy emocionada con cuánto ha crecido mi colección estos últimos meses. Así que ahora me iré a pensar los próximos diseños que quiero porque mi cumpleaños se viene el siguiente mes. ＼(≧▽≦)／
